Better Preview

Description

Better Preview changes the url of the preview button in your Joomla! Administrator (top right) to match the item you are viewing.

It does a smart search through your menus to also get the right (or best matching) Itemid. That means that your menus and modules will be placed correctly.

The large article preview button (only on Joomla 1.5) will work differently. With Better Preview it executes the plugins, so you will see how the content will actually look on your website.

Requirements

Better Preview will only work correctly if your setup meets these requirements:

• Up-to-date version of Joomla! 1.5 or 2.5
• PHP 5.3+ No PHP 5.2 support
• MySQL 5+

Important: I can only provide support for setups that:

• meet the above requirements;
• do not have extension files or Joomla! core files which have been altered in any way.
