If you use CustoMenu, please post a rating and a review at the DescriptionCustoMenu is an extremely powerful menu module. It gives you full control over the display of your menu. You can use one of your menus or be completely independent of the Joomla! menu structure by selecting items from different menu's. You get a bunch of Advanced Parameters to your disposal. Advanced Parameters include:
Fully stylableCustoMenu comes with a number of different layouts. You can change these and add your own. So you have full controll over the HTML structure of your menu. 1-LevelThis menu is a 1-level menu. So if you are looking for a menu with pull downs or trees, look further. But for many sites a 1-level (main) menu is just what is desired. So the menu you see at the top of this website is NOT a CustoMenu. CustoMenu does NOT support sub menus!!! Output Extra CSSThis feature gives you the ability to include extra CSS files related to the active menu item. This means that you can have different backgrounds, color schemes or whatever per menu item.
(version(s) for Joomla! 1.0 has less features and support) UpdatingVersion 2.2.0 is different to versions 2.1.6 and before. InstallingThe CustoMenu package installs/updates all necessary extensions, like components, module and plugins. (If the package contains plugins, they will be published after install, so you won't have to do that by hand.) The package makes use of a special installer. This checks to see if it needs to install the extension(s) or update them. So you can just run this package through the Joomla installer without having to uninstall the older version. You might experience problems during install for certain setups. In that case you can install the extension(s) manually. Please read the INSTALL.txt in the package... If you run into any problems, please report this on the forum or let me know via the contact form. Need more help?Need more help?If you need more help, please take a look in the forum. However, if you use the extensions on websites you make for / sell to your customer, I would appreciate it if you purchase a License Code. Note: If you don't want to pay for the License Code and want to continue to use the extension for free, please do. You will just have to ignore the license message in the administrator. Note: If you have donated before and feel you should get some reduction on the price, please contact me about it... we'll sort it out :)
Here you can see the difference between the use of the extensions without and with Commercial License Code.
