I checked out Modalizer on a project of mine and I like it a lot. However, at some point, I noticed that the RSS feeds generated by Joomla don't work anymore.

Basically, when you are on one of the site's news blogs and add "&type=rss" to the URL, Joomla is supposed to deliver the RSS feed in XML. However, as soon as I activate the Modalizer plugin, it doesn't anymore: Joomla will deliver the regular layout in HTML instead, as if the additional parameter wasn't there.

... I assume that the activated plugin somehow eats up the "type" parameter.

If necessary, I could supply a test URL, but as it's on a work in progress site that should not be spidered by searchbots yet, I prefer not to post it here in the wild.

Weird, I have tested it on rss links, and have no problems...
I do however see that the K2 system plugin causes this behavior... do you have that installed too?

Hhm ... No, I haven't K2 running, but a couple of other plugins, some of them even self-programmed - although they all behaved perfectly nice until they had to work next to Modalizer.

I'll try to deactivate all the other plugins on my test-site one by one to see when the RSS feeds work again with Modalizer active. That way, it might be possible to track down the reason for this unpredicted side-effect.

HHmm ... Hard to tell. I deactivated each and every other plugin, and activating Modalizer still broke the RSS feed.
