Ver. 1.3.2 Fatal Error 2 Years ago
Hi Peter,
I installed Ver. 1.3.2 yesterday.
I use CommunityBuilder on my page.

Now when I try to go to my profile in CB I get the following error:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29622272) (tried to allocate 392139 bytes) in /XXXXX/plugins/system/modulesanywhere/helper.php on line 351

I have no clue what to do .....

Thanks in advance,
TopCop

Hmm, weird. Modules Anywhere should really be a problem memory wise. So it is probably the final straw...

Try to up your php memory limit by adding a line like this to your .htaccess file:
php_value memory_limit 16M

(You can see what your current limit is by looking in the System information n the Joomla Administrator).

Adding this line to my .htaccess causes a internal server error.

Hmmm, then your server does not allow this. What is your current PHP memory limit?
You will have to ask your host to set it higher, or change it in the php.ini (if you have access).

PHP Info tells me the memory limit is 40 M.

So this should be more than enough I think?

Yes, that should be more than enough. THen I don't know why you get a memory limit error.

Peter,
just to let you know:

My Provider is 1&1. Php-Info tells me memory limit is 40MB.
Support tells me max. limit to use is 32MB.

After some testing I found out, that there was a CB Tab using a lot of memory. Limiting the tabs in CB (I deactivated some plugins) solved my problem.
Now I have no problems to run Modules Anywhere.
