Fatal error with version 1.3.4 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Hi,

I just installed Modules Anywhere and since then I have the following problem when trying to save an article with modules in it:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in /opt/www/leysenf/web/test.crooze.fm/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 462

My total memory size is 32MB (I'm on shared hosting). I normally never have memory problems.
Any idea what the problem can be?

Thanks,

Frank

Modules Anywhere shouldn't be heavy on php memory at all. But it of course costs some. So your site was probably very close to the limit before installing ist. And now just reaches it.

It could very well be you have some extensions running that cost a lot of memory.

Thanks for your quick reply, Peter.

Could it be that there is a problem with Joomfish and Modules Anywhere running together?

Not sure. Could be anything.

You could try to up your php memory limit to 64M.

I have no idea why, but everything works fine now. Memory limit was not changed. It's a great plugin by the way. Thanks,

Ok, great. Maybe a server thing.
Going into your database and repairing / optimizing all tables could help a little too.
