After upgrading the ReReplacer to 2.6.2 version I can`t sort the list of items. This is a big problem for me, because I have there around 200 items.

The second problem that I have is, my web gets crashed sometimes with a error that I have a very big load. My webhoster has told me, that this problems happend only if the web takes a CPU load of avarage 300 web pages. I think the problem could be caused of cycling some phrases/code cycling. Is there any possibility to check these items, what can cause this problem?

Yeah, I see it has been broken since some time. Will be fixed in next version.

You can fix it by changing the file:
/administrator/components/com_rereplacer/models/list.php
On line 189, change:

To:


relacer!?

Can you tell me also, if the rereplacer can cause a big cpu load on the server? And if yes, is there any "diagnostic utility" what can check if there is any problem in the items settings?

Well, the replacements need server power/time. The settings do indeed have effect.

Few things to remember:

Regular expressions are heavier than normal searches (especially when using references).
So use normal searches when you can. You can also use lists to search (comma separated)

The area setting 'Body' and 'Everywhere' are the fastest.

Keep setting 'Enable in Tags' to 'yes' if you can.


If you want, you can give me admin access so I can take a look at the items to see if they can be optimized.
