install error - JFTP Bad response 5 Months, 1 Week ago  
Hi!

I get an error when I try to install ReReplacer 2.6.5
I used v. 2.6.2 before but after the site was moved to a new server something happened (site crashed) so I removed the files via FTP. And now when I try to install the new version I get this error:

* JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
* JFTP::store: Bad response
* Varning - Misslyckades att flytta filen (eng translate: Warning - Failed to move file)

Really appriciate some help with this.

Have you tried turning on the ftp layer in your settings?

Hmm.. saw something about that. Can't find it in global settings. Is it anywhere ells?
I saw antoher misstake tho. Now I get this error instead:


* JFTP::store: Bad response
* Varning - Misslyckades att flytta filen (eng translate: Warning - Failed to move file)

Hittar inte ett installationspaket (eng translate: Failed to find installation package)

JFTP = ftp error. Which simply means that Joomla is trying to write files but doesn't have permission or can't login via ftp data.

So go to the Global Configuration and click on the sub tab 'Server'. And fill the correct ftp data in under 'FTP Settings'.

Yeah. It's filled out correct..
I tried change to IP instead of ftp. but got the same error.

Hmmm, then you will have to try the manual installation (see the INSTAL.txt in the zip file).

Do you also have problems installing other extensions (not by NoNumber! NºNumber!NºNumber!)?
