I need to use swfObject to view my swf,
so, I will include the swfobject.js file : ex
<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>

my question is, where to put the file at my Joomla website ?
and what is the correct path then ??

In your example, the file would be in the root.
Your joomla website runs under the index.php. That is in the root.
