no reaction to "insert" or "update" button when inserting php code

no reaction to "insert" or "update" button when inserting php code 2 Years, 5 Months ago  
no matter what I do, my editor (JCE) won't accept my php-code. when I open the sourcerer, there is no reaction to the "insert" button, and if there is, the code is being removed, only the {source}{/source} tags stay. when I publish the article, nothing is visible in the HTML output.

I would be very very thankful if anyone could help me....

thanks admin. but i have activated the module, the system plugin and the editor plugin - no change. when I klick on the sourcerer button in the (JCE) editor, I am directed to the control centre now!?!? why is that?? please please help me, i am totally lost now ()

First off, problems with the JCE editor can probably be fixed through their patch:
http://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downl...itor/patches/188-154

To fix the JCE insert button problem
1) download and unzip the JCE 188-154 patch mentioned above
2) copy editor.js to .../plugins/editors/jce/libraries/js/editor.js

If your editor strips your tags, use the double bracket syntax.
