Advanced Mod Mgr causing crash editing menu items 1 Year, 11 Months ago

I installed Advanced Module Manager v1.6.0c (Joomla 1.5.15 with GZIP compression set to 'yes'). When I attempt to open a menu item to edit it, I get a browser crash with the message 'Content Encoding Error'.
With compression switched off, I get the following message when opening an existing menu item to edit it:
Notice: Array to string conversion in [site name]\plugins\system\advancedmodules\helper.php on line 151
I tried a number of menu items (different types). All give the same error.
With the plugin unpublished, everything works as normal.

As stated here: www.nonumber.nl/advancedmodulemanager/changelog STILL TO MANY BUGS IN v1.6.x PLEASE USE v1.5.0 New version (1.7.0) will be available soon (this weekend?)
