Not working with new articles 5 Months ago

Hi Peter. Firstly, thank you, I have been looking for this for a while. I am not sure if I am setting something incorrectly:

I select a module and under assigments I have tried every setting to get a module to show up on my news section and include all articles in that section. The module came up on the existing articles, but does not show on new articles.

I am using the latest version of Joomla, Alphacontent, Advnaced Mod mgr & sh404SEF. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
