Hi, this is more of an FYI, since I can't really help pin down the exact cause of the problem.
Yesterday I saw a bunch of upgrades & did them en masse, one right after the other (silly way to do things, I know). The ones I upgraded were:
ReReplacer
AdvModuleManager
CacheCleaner
BetterPreview
ArticlesAnywhere
AdminBarDocker
ModulesAnywhere.
After doing this, my server became almost non-responsive; the CPU would max out, showing a lot of httpd and sql activity. Admin pages would load OK, but the web site would take over a minute per page to load, and sometimes not load completely.
Trial & error uninstalling lead me to believe that the culprit was Advanced Module Manager; uninstalling that resolved the issue.
But when I tried to "downgrade" to the previous version, the problem returned.
I then deleted ALL of the above mentioned extensions from my system & re-installed AMM 1.8.4, and it worked fine. I then upgraded to 1.9 and the problem recurred.
Revert to 1.8.4, works fine.
Side note, may be 1.8.4 only, but when I had "Mirror other modules" checked as an option, that would be the ONLY option that would appear on the edit modules page. Disable that, and all the other options re-appear.
In any event, Thanks for a great product, it's essential.
