created date format

Hi there,
I am using the tag {created} to show the created date of my article. The date is showing up as 2010-06-05 00:00:00
even though I have altered my en-GB.ini file to show a different format - which is working fine when not using Articles Anywhere. My uneducated guess is that the plug in is reading the date directly from the database which has this format and is bypassing the en-GB.ini file. Any ideas?

Articles Anywhere hasn't got a built in format function for the date fields yet.
So yes, all fields other than the ones listed on www.nonumber.nl/articlesanywhere/syntax will indeed be placed directly as in the database.

Thank you, Peter. It seems like it's possible to change the date format in the database. Would you happen to know if this would cause any issues with Joomla?
