Hi

A suggestion for this great plugin.
It will be better, if articals are integrated by the id instead of the title, because, if we change the title of the artical, we must modify the artical insertion.

Example :
Actually {article MyArticalTitle}{text}{/article}
Soon {article MyArticalId}{text}{/article}

Sorry it's ok !!!
I have just find how to do that. I must click on the id and not on the title by the button "artical anywhere"

Correct. And you don't have to use the editor button. You can just type in the code too.

ou can place article details using the title, alias or id of the article

A nice addition might be, to enable section and category prefixes for the article title (separated by slashes for instances). In that way, you can use non unique article titles in different sections and/or catgories.

I'll think about it...
Or you can just use the alias. It is good practice to keep aliases unique (even if in different secs/cats).

I guess you are right. But from the perspective of ease of use, section/category/article is probably easier to remember than aliases. Especially on sites with a lot of content.

An interesting alternative might be, to use section-category-article aliases

You don't have to remember, that's what the editor button is for

You're right again. I forgot about the button, because I never use it. You just gave me a good reason to start doing so.

Re: A suggestion 1 Year, 7 Months ago
I am experimenting with using the alias method.

Many of my articles have the same text in their alias.

I was hoping to use Articles Anywhere to place ALL articles with the the specified alias text.

Auto created from Title, alias examples:
johnson-home-bar
smith-home-bar

I was hoping to use: {article home-bar}{title} {text} {readmore}{/article}
To show BOTH the johnson and smith articles.

1. Is this possible?

2. My other suggestion would be to use keywords in the syntax. So that one line of syntax could show any article in the future that has that keyword that is also used for SEO.

No, Articles Anywhere is aimed at placing one article per tag.
If you use {article home-bar} only the article with alias 'home-bar' will be displayed.

Ok.

Do you have any future place to add keyword to the syntax or create a separate module?

Not at the moment... pretty busy.
Also, this approach changes the behavior of AA pretty much. So not sure if I want to go that direction with it.
Maybe have an {articles} tag (plural) to have it display all the articles that match the keyword (in title/alias/text)...
I'll think about it.

Re: A suggestion 1 Year, 7 Months ago
I would pay for the update to have AA display ALL articles with ANY matching specified text from the alias.

So in my example:
johnson-home-bar
smith-home-bar

I would use {article home-bar}{text}{/article} to display BOTH article using AA.

Please inform me if this feature becomes available via email or this post.
