It seems that content plug-in's are not processed when embedding an article in a (custom html) module?

I'm using the JV-ContenLinks extension to automatically convert keywords into links. This works fine when displaying articles in the regular way. However, when using Articles Anywhere to display an article in a module, it doesn't. Is there a configuration option I'm not aware of or does it simply not work at all?

No, that is correct.
The content from the article is placed in the area you specify.
Content plugins only have effect on articles inside the content area.
I can look into making an extra option to make the content plugins go over the content...

That would be great. Maybe make it a configurable option. Any idea when you can get around to that? I need it for the website I'm working on and I'm always willing to donate a little extra for a special request. Just let me know how much.

To have it done now, I would have to charge my hourly rate (55 euros).
To encourage me to do it the moment I have some time, well, then you decide

That's mighty descent of you.

I'm only a one man operation, such as yourself, struggling to keep my head above the water (how Dutch can my English get). Therefore I can not afford to do these kind of projects on an hourly basis, but only as fixed price. I'm sure you can do it within an hour (possibly even less), so if you are willing to do it for € 55,=, you can go ahead. Otherwise I'm afraid I have to take your second offer and donate a couple of euro's, hoping you will find the time to work on it real soon.

I didn't expect it to be that much of a problem. But then again, you're the specialist.

Let me know if we have a deal for the € 55,=, so I can pay the money for some additional motivation.

I have sent you a version to test out. Had a few bumps along the road. But I think I managed to get it working ok.

Thanx for implementing this feature so quickly. It's well worth the money. One question though: will this functionality also be available in the officlai version from now on?

Yes, of course.
I see no reason why anybody would not want the content plugins executed over the article content (via Articles Anywhere). So it will be standard behavior.
I won't add an option to turn that off unless someone starts complaining...

I think this is the functionality I need for this problem?
www.nonumber.nl/forum/5-articles-anywher...e-with-rabs-a-slides

I am trying to put an article in a module that uses teh Tabs & Slides plugin by JoomlaWorks. Will the fix you mention here enable me to do that?

I purchased the Unlimited Commercial License, can I get a copy of the updated Articles Anywhere if it allows me to use plugins in the articles?

Re:Content plug-in's don't seem to be processed. 1 Year, 5 Months ago
It appears that not all content plugin's work as expected yet. I'm currently having a problem with 1Pixelout Audio Player. Displaying the regular article works fine and allows me to play an audio file. Displaying that same article in a module position using Articles Anywhere, results in a 'No Flash Player detected' message instead of the audio control bar. Apparently two JavaScript files don't get loaded in the <head> section of the document, causing this problem.

Any suggestions?

Re:Content plug-in's don't seem to be processed. 1 Year, 5 Months ago
Sorry for the late reply...

Probably this is just a case of bad luck. Articles Anywhere places articles in places the should not be. Content plugins are therefor executed ate moments they don't expect to be. This can indeed cause unexpected behaviour for plugins that add stuff to the site's head (depending on method used to do this). Articles Anywhere attempts to correct issues, but is (and will not) be 100% waterproof for all extensions.

A solution could be to add the missing scripts to the head in the template file (causing the scripts to be loaded on all pages) or use Sourcerer to add the scripts to the head (see www.nonumber.nl/forum/14-sourcerer/5174-...ead-of-the-html-page)

Apology accepted but not necessary. Any reply is highly appreciated and you are usually extremely fast with replies to forum topics and providing solutions for problems with your extensions.

I indeed deployed Sourcerer as the preferred workaround, to avoid the scripts being loaded on each page. I am also in discussion with the extension developer. Do you have any suggestions how this issue can be solved and possibly make this plugin work in combination with Articles Anywhere?

Re:Content plug-in's don't seem to be processed. 1 Year, 5 Months ago
With a quick look at the code, I see 1pixeloutaudioplayer is using $document->addCustomTag() to add scripts. This is not the best way to add scripts to the head. So a change there might help.
(So it should use addScript and addScriptDeclaration instead)
