There seems to be a conflict between Better Preview 1.6.2 and gigCal 1.0.3. This version of gigCal may well be using legacy mode, but I'm not sure of that.

The gigCal admin (through the Component menus) stops functioning after installation and enabling of Better Preview. All of the gigCalendar admin commands I tried (gigmanager, new gig, band manager, new band, etc) simply display a blank page. Disabling Better Preview clears the problem.

Better Preview seems like a very convenient alternative to manually doing the same operation but I can live without it if it is going to cause problems like this. It would be much more useful if it really did show a "preview" - i.e. before the item is updated in the db. I can understand that would be somewhat more difficult to design and implement than what you have done.

Anyway, I thought you should be aware of the conflict and, perhaps you could suggest a reason why such a conflict might occur.

With a quick look at how gigCal outputs the paths of the scripts, it seems that it isn't really well programmed. Or let's say the 'alpha' tag is correct.
So my best bet is that the problem lies there.

There is an actual preview in normal content (article preview button). But it is impossible to do this for every type of component.
