I just install your plugin and it work great...Anyway I thinking to use for replace the default core preview but is not really possible in the way I want. In fact my first goal was to disable "Private Message Icon" related to the internal messaging system (I don't plan to use this tools and would like avoid to show to Admin). Unfortunately this seem not to be possible because this icon + Logout icon + User icon + Preview icon are integrated together inside Admin module "user status" and is not possible to hide a specific icon...too bad

So after making some search I found your plugin thinking is possible to simply unpublish default module "User Status" and replace with Better Preview...but this is not possible because Better Preview is a plugin and not a module... I don't care if I loose Logout icon and User status icon but I really would like a Preview icon without Messaging icon...

Do you have a solution ?? I imagine you don't plan to release your plugin in a module ??

Well, that is the whole reason Better Preview is a plugin and not a module. Because you can't simply unpublish the core preview link.

You could hack the core status module to only show the stuff you want/need.

Or you could use ReReplacer to manipulate the output and remove the html you do not want
