Hi, Before I install this component I would like to find out if it is what I need. As I understand it creates templates with predefined settings etc. But does it actually create fixed HTML/CSS templates s where you can predefine where image will be loaded when user add an image? Or does it create fields or sth like that?

No, you can create a template that controls the settings of the article (or other content item) and places what you have defined inside the editor.

So you can use that as a starting point for creating an artcle. But there is nothing stopping you from changing the settings/content after that.

If you need a system that controls the fixed layout of your content (and if that can't be done through your normal website template), try JoomSuite Resources or SOBI.
