I can't get the template to show in the drop down 1 Year, 11 Months ago
I am fairly new to Joomla but it looks like Custom Template is just the thing I have been looking for. I created a template and now I want to be able to select it when I create a new article. However, it does not appear in drop down list of available templates. Can you shed any light on the error of my ways.. Thanks Eliza

I take it you have created the template in the Content Templater component? Check the assignment/publishing settings of the template.
