Horizontal menu question 1 Year, 6 Months ago
Yet another awesome mod! Well done.

A question, the horizontal menu as a default spreads the length ofthe page, and looks a bit lost. Is there any way of altering the css so that the menu just starts in the middle and expands when an item is added as opposed to spreading right out to fill the page,

Thanks

Yeah, that is all down to css. But also down to the styling of the element the menu is placed in.

What css you actually need to use depends very much on your template and such. So can't really tell without seeing it.
Do you have a link?

Sure, I have just used the defaults for customenu, and am using the Joomla menu structure option

starphoto.moledesign.net

this is only a development site, not live.

Try adding this to your css (adding it to the templates css is fine).

table.customenu_default {
   margin: 0 auto;
   width: auto;
}
table.customenu_default td {
   padding: 0 10px;
}
