I wonder if anyone has encountered this and could help... I have Customenu loaded, I have the module published, and have a menu and parameters all set. But, when the menu appears on the page, none of the links load at all. When you click them, they appear to load, but you are left at the same page without anything loading.

I have tried loading in modal windows and boxes, in the same window and in a new one, but get the same result.

I do have Modalinks installed as well, and when the normal text menu is configured in the normal way, that works fine. Is it possible that the two packages conflict?

The links I'm trying to get to work are intended to work the same way; when you click the menu, you get a modal window overlay of the page.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. I cannot send you a link, I only have it on a local testing server.

I'm guessing there is a conflict with another script, but I don't have any JS at all in the template. I am using the built in mootools, standard to J1.5. I am using sIFR (flash font replacement js script) on the sub template (assigned only to the content displayed within the modal windows). However, this script isn't loaded until the content is displayed, and the link load never gets to the point of opening a modal window.

Other observations... I notice that when the Customenu link is clicked, the address bar changes to the content's correct link (content item id link), but the content does not load.

Also, the text on the Customenu links is not 'clickable,' only the background images are. Is this normal?

My next step is to install a completely clean version of J1.5 in another server setup, and then track down which script is possibly interfering. If I find anything, I will report it so you can pass it on to the community.

The problems you are having sound very strange. There is clearly something wrong. I'd advise you to use FireFox with the FireBug plugin for development purposes. If there are any javascript or html output errors, you should be able to find out quite easily with that setup.

Can you give me an update of your situation? Still having problems?
