[SOLVED] Changing the way Customenu looks 3 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi all,
Using this excellent module.
Two questions:
1. How can I centralize the direction of the menu? Basic it's to the left side.
2. How can I make it without any margins on the ja purity.
Many thanks!

To style the menu as wanted, you'll have to dig into the css.
You can just change the stylesheet that comes with Customenu. You can also give the menu another class (so not default) and put everything in a stylesheet with that name.

If you use FireFox with the FireBug plugin, you can change the stylesheet live. So see inmediately what certain style changes do.

To center the whole menu:
div.customenu_default {
   text-align:center;
}

You can adjust the margins and paddings on the spans in the css.

Thanks for the fast answer.
I use firebug but what I wanted to do is not align the text, of each menu cube, to the center, but to make the entire menu centralize.
So if, for example I got 4 cubs of menu, they will be in the center of the template and not to the left size.
Tried to change the css but not help...

div.customenu_default {
   width: 100%;
   text-align:center;
}

It's hard guessing what is going wrong without seeing your site...

I'm not sure what you mean...
Margins on what elements?

Right-click on the element and select "Inspect Element" (firebug). Here you can see if the element has any margins and where it gets it from. If you are talking about the standard menu in JA Purity, the margins are set in the template stylesheet: ja-sosdmenu.css (line 78)
#ja-mainnav ul.menu li a {
   ...
   padding:10px 20px;
   ...
}
