Hi,

I've been using this system, and it works great.

Here is the current problem. If you go to the test site:

http://www.sebringhome.info/

Click the main "Contact" menu. Well, in there, is a "Customenu" Contacts menu. The menu links to the Contact category sections.
When clicking on these, it always defaults to the top level menu item and displays everything incorrectly. This is the only area where I am having difficulty. Why are these menu items not displaying correctly?

I.E. when I go to a different contact category and choose a contact, it will default to the top menu position.

You will just have to go there and see for yourself as it is easier to see than to explain.

I don't see what you mean. The contact menu seems to work fine. The active item is correct too.
What do you mean 'default to the top menu position'???

As soon as you select ANY person from a "Category", I.E. a "Contacts" category, the menu reverts to the top item.

Do this:

1) Go the the main menu, hit "Contacts".

2) Go to the right module "Contact Us Menu" [Customenu!]

3) Click on "Home Sales" At that point, the contacts "category" -- HOME SALES listing is shown with (3) people listed. Now, we are still in the "Home Sales" menu item and "Home Sales" category.

4) click on ANY name within the HOME SALES category listing on the page. AS SOON as you do, the listing comes up as "MANAGEMENT" -- wrong because it is "Home Sales" and the Customenu menu item goes off "Home Sale" and jumps to MANAGEMENT which is incorrect. I have not gone out of that menu item. I just clicked a link in the category list menu.

I just did it exactly as I said, and the results are the same. As soon as you drill down the catergory listings, customenu jumps straight to the 'Management" menu item every time (except for the last (two) items which are direct links.

Yes, I see.
This has to do with the Itemid (= menu id) the contact links get in the listing. These probably get the Itemid of the "Contact Us" menu item, and not the subitem of the contact menu. This is not something I can help you with. That's something the contacts component does.

Well, I have workarounds. I can make sub-customenus or make an html page with the proper links, I guess. Trying to save myself that extra work as that is a really complex website.

BTW, those Customenus are great!
