Yes, should be no problem.

Using the current settings, you could replace the images that come with the CustoMenu package.

But I's recommend using sprites instead of loose images. I'll change the CSS in the coming version to use sprites. But you can find a lot on google about how to use them.

In short: just use one image as background for all buttons, but change the position to show the correct part.
This way you can place all normal, hover and active states of all buttons in one image.
