1 Level Menu without submenu 2 Years ago
Hi everbody,

Sorry for my english, I need some help

I'm making a website for a Resturant... And I would like that the menu on the left, if there is a section with only one level page (Eg "Where are we" with only one page with a map) no submenu will be shown.

There for, if there is more than one page (Eg on the area "Event's" there will be the pages "Valentin's Day 2010", "Easter Dinner" and so own) the submenu is shown

There is an image that can help my awful explanation:

Here the link is on "Home" (it's a joomla article) but i would like the link on "Menu Principale" (it's a joomla Menu and module)

Instead for the menu "Risorse" there are more links (article's) on the submenu and it's ok have it like this (the best thing should be that the submenu come's out when I Click on "Risorse"

I've tried everything on the CustoMenu module administration... but i can't get out of it

Thank you very much for help!
Stefano

I know... I'm sorry for my awful english.

Simply... If there is only one article in a Menu... (like Menu Principale - Home) I would like that the cliccable link is on "Menu Principale", which will open the page "Home" so that under the red box, the orange box with the "Home" link is not shown.

Maybe with images I can explain it better

this is what I have...

And this is what I would like

Where "Menu Principale" is a Menu and "Home" is an article. On the new menu I don't what that the "Home" link is visibile... but it's open by clicking on "Menu Principale".

Do you understand now?

thank you very much

Easiest would be to not show the title. And make the menu links tile (Now Home) 'Menu Pricipale'.
Then give the module a class so you can style it differently: make the link item red instead of yellow

Yes... infact i thought of this workaround, but at which module I have to give the class with the red background? The "Menu Principale" module? I have to write the class on the "Advance Parameters" right? Which value? On the "Sufix class CSS menu" or "Sufix class CSS module" ?

Thank you very much and sorry again for my english

Yes, you can add a module suffix.
