All NoNumber! extensions require php 5.3+. As it says in the requirements list, you need php 5.3+.
This does not mean the extensions will definitely not work under php 5.2. But it does mean there is a good chance you'll come across problems. And that I can no longer offer support for setups still running on php 5.2.
Php.net has announced its end of support for php 5.2 some time ago. So php 5.2 is end-of-life!
These last few weeks I've been pretty much blown away by the generosity of the Joomla! community. Something I wasn't expecting - even-though I already had great respect for the people in this community.
This is just a little post to inform you of the status of Joomla! 1.6 compatibility.
NoNumber! extensions will be Joomla! 1.6 compatible
Simply because of lack of time I have not been able to make my extensions ready for Joomla! 1.6 yet. I will probably not be able to start working on this before April.
All NoNumber! extensions are now only compatible with Joomla! 1.5.
Something most Joomla! website managers/administrators will not often look at is the Plugin Manager. However, understanding plugin ordering can save your site from problems.
I'd like to think that I am the non-geek in a geek environment.
Okay, I might wear glasses. I might spend most my day behind the computer. But who doesn’t.And yeah, I am the introvert type that prefers online contact to offline contact. But that doesn’t make me a geek or a nerd.
It's a bit late, but I was on Holiday at the time...
I was nominated in 3 categories for the J!Oscars (Joomla! Open Source Creative and Artistic Awards).
The winners were announced at the J! and Beyond conference on Monday, May 31st 2010. The results can be found here.
I am very pleased an happy to say I was given an award for “Outstanding Personal Achievement"!
Thank you to everyone who supported me and made this possible. Also thank you very much to Brian Teeman for organizing the whole J! and Beyond conference and the J!oscars.
PS: I am working on a longer blog thank-you-speech :)
The below post is not serious but satirical. Unfortunately some people did not see the joke and were offended by the false accusations I make. I am sorry to everyone who has been hurt/offended by this blog post. That was not my intention. It was just a surrealistic little conspiracy story in which I connect Italians thinking I am German to a typo on a site.
28th of May, the break of dawn, no even before. The car packed to the rim, just enough room to squeeze in my wife Daniëlle, my daughter Marissa (3 years old) and myself. Start navigation program, set destination to Italy via Switzerland. Off we go...
Stephen Brandon and Peter van Westen are pleased to announce new versions of MetaMod Pro (MMP) and Advanced Module Manager (AMM) which can now be used simultaneously to afford complete module control on Joomla! sites.
