Goodbye Joomla 1.5, Hello Joomla 3

No more Joomla 1.5 support?

In this blog post I announced that I would drop Joomla 1.5 support for my extensions in September 2012. However, September has come and gone, and I have continued to offer Joomla 1.5 support.

So what's up with that?
I will drop Joomla 1.5 support as soon as the Joomla 3 version of the extension is available.

This means that that the extensions will be available and supported for Joomla 1.5 and 2.5, until the Joomla 3 version is available. Then it will only be available for Joomla 2.5 and 3.
So until the Joomla 3 version is available, the package will still work on Joomla 1.5. I have however removed the Joomla 1.5 compatibility icons to prevent  people from buying the extension for Joomla 1.5 use only.

Even after the Joomla 3 version comes out, you will still be able to download the old Joomla 1.5 version, but they will not be supported or developed anymore.

• What? Nothing!

Currently these are pretty much ready and are in the testing stage:

I will soon be working on:

• Add to Menu
• AdminBar Docker
• Better Preview

Extensions that will not be available for Joomla 3.0:

• CustoMenu
• Timed Styles

You can help speed up the process by testing the extensions I have ready.

Please do not install these on production websites, they are for testing purposes only.
